Scores stayed tight, unlike June
The minimum scores across all six draws sat in a narrow 52–55 band — a much tighter spread than June's batch, which ranged from 47 (aviation) up to 71 (tourism). That's the more useful read here than any single number: Alberta isn't reaching unusually deep or unusually shallow into any of its pools right now, it's clearing a fairly consistent slice across every stream it touched.
These are Alberta scores, not your CRS
Same reminder as always: the "minimum score" column is Alberta's own Expression of Interest (EOI) score, not your federal Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. A score of 53 in the Opportunity Stream and a CRS of 453 measure two completely different pools on two different scales. They connect only at the end — an AAIP nomination through an Express Entry–aligned pathway adds 600 points to your federal CRS, which is effectively a guaranteed invitation at the next Express Entry round.
Law Enforcement Pathway makes its debut
The July 10 draw is the one worth flagging. It's the first time Alberta has issued invitations through its Law Enforcement Pathway — a stream that existed on paper (with a 38-nomination allocation for 2026) but hadn't sent out a single invitation until this round. Fewer than 10 candidates were invited at a minimum score of 52, making it both the smallest and quietest debut of any AAIP pathway this year.
